Have you ever wondered how to get more time to do what you want?  That thought usually goes along with the dream of having plenty of money to afford your freedom, right?

Guess what?  Money doesn't always give you time, and I'm sure you know that time doesn't always bring money!

I can attest to this. I've done many things-- all with the idea that I would make enough money to support my "art habit."

For seventeen years I had a small chain of retail art, rug and decorative accessory galleries in Chicago.  They provided a great living.  I had two homes and two cars, but hardly ever had the time to enjoy them, or to make art!.

Then, when the retail climate changed, I was forced to close my stores. I ended up with tons of time, and no money! (That stunk.)

The pressure of going bankrupt and constantly trying to figure out how to replace my income was, well, horrible.  The tension crept into every moment of every day.
